MEETING & SURPASSING NEW CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION STANDARDS

With the numerous subcontractors involved in constructing a new home, it can be a challenge for the builder to provide proper quality control. This is why VBI utilizes the (ROC) Registrar of Contractor Workmanship Standards for all new construction inspections. These standards provide a higher level of scrutiny, ensuring all contractors involved are responsible for the following:

✔️ Performing all work in accordance with professional standards

✔️ Performing all work in a professional manner

✔️ Conducting necessary repairs when mandated

PHASED NEW CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS

Although all three phases are not required, they are vitally important to a structurally sound home you can depend on for years to come. Ordering a home inspection during each phase of your home’s construction will provide you with a well-built, steadfast structure for you and your family:

Pre-Slab Review

Pre-Slab Review includes an examination of all existing concrete, in-floor plumbing, electrical, aggregate base, main water service, and steel reinforcement.

Framing Review

Framing Review is performed prior to wall insulation and drywall, but after plumbing, mechanical, and electrical is installed, using our exclusive Blue Tape Final Inspection method. Systems reviewed include general framing techniques, quality of workmanship, utility installation, slab foundation, roof sheathing, and more.

Final Inspection

Final Inspection is similar to a standard home inspection, using InterNACHI standards for a higher level of assessment.
